Tai'an Cellulose Ether Technology Research Institute was established in August 2000. Its predecessor was Tai'an Cellulose Ether Industrial Technology Research Institute. It is the only domestic company specialized in cellulose ether (HPMC MC HEC HPC CMC EC PAC EHEC HPMCP MCC Nano-cellulose:CNF/CNC), Scientific research unit for industrial technology research and complete technology transfer of starch ether (CMS HPS HES).
Main achievement
1. In 2002, completed the design,
installation, commissioning and personnel training of the 500-ton / year
hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and high-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose
project in Shandong Dezhou VISCOM
Chemical CO; Ltd ,. In that year, the product was exported to 120 tons.
2. In 2003, we successfully studied the
slurry-process polyanionic cellulose (PAC) product, and completed the scale-up
of the pilot test process (200 liters).
3. In May 2004, the process design of
2000 tons / year polyanionic cellulose of Shandong
Yiteng Chemical Co., Ltd. was completed. The test run was successful in the
same year, and the product passed the new product appraisal of the Shandong
Provincial Department of Science and Technology. The conclusion: to fill the
domestic gap and reach the level of similar foreign products.In August 2005,
the product successfully held a press conference in the Great Hall of the
People.
4. In November 2004, Shandong Yiteng Chemical Co., Ltd. completed the 2000-ton / year hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) engineering
design and installation.
5. In January 2005, Shandong Yiteng Chemical Co., Ltd.
successfully commissioned a 2000-ton / year hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose
(HPMC) and exported its products.
6. In October 2006, the pilot test of
solvent-based highly substituted carboxymethyl starch (CMS) was completed. The
degree of substitution was 0.8-1.2, and the viscosity was greater than
10000mPa.s.
7. In December 2006, the pilot test of hydroxypropyl starch (HPS) for
solvent-mixed dry-mixed mortar and putty was completed.
8. Provided complete set of technology
in December 2006 on Zhejiang Joinway
Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. 12.5 cubic cauldron, successfully produced
medicinal hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (viscosity 5-7.5mPa.s), the quality
reached USP .
9. In August 2007, the complete design
of 2000 tons / year hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) of Zouping Fuhai Oil and Fat Industry Co.,
Ltd. was completed.
10. In September 2007, a new process
was successfully developed to produce hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC),
which uses its own intellectual property rights process wastewater circulation

22. In June 2016, the design, equipment
installation and commissioning of 3000 tons of magnesium stearate project of Anhui Sunhere Pharmaceutical Excipients Co., Ltd. was completed,
and qualified products were produced.
